天下风云出我辈，

The vicissitudinous world beget people like us,

一入江湖岁月催。

But time and tide await no one, alas!

宏图霸业谈笑中，

Talks about great ambitions and causes might be merry,

不胜人生一场醉。

Yet they all lack lustre before a drunken revelry.

提剑跨骑挥鬼雨，

Waiving the sword in the devil's rain on my charger,

白骨如山鸟惊飞。

Beholding mountains of white bones send birds fleeing in fear.

尘事如潮人如水，

Things in the world are like waves while humans like water;

只叹江湖几人回。

Few could return after unfolding their worldy venture.
